Dental Implants
An excellent option offering a permanent solution to missing teeth.

What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a small titanium screw or cylinder which is surgically placed in the jaw bone where it heals firmly in place. The implant replaces the root of the missing tooth, providing a anchor for your new tooth / teeth. After healing is complete, a crown or other dental restoration can be placed on the implant.
Many patients choose dental implants over other procedure, because the result is a natural appearance that is permanent. Implant supported crowns typically look, function and feel more like natural teeth.
Implants can be used to support various dental restorations, including a single crown, bridge, or denture. Crowns and bridges are permanent restorations that are cemented or screed to the implant and are not removable. Implant supported dentures are removable, but unlike traditional dentures, they snap onto the implants and are stable in the mouth.

Dentures
Patients with an uncomfortable or loose denture may stabilize it with a mini-implant. Mini-implants are placed in the jaw, where they heal firmly in place. Attachments are placed on the underside of the denture that connect them to the implants. When placed in the mouth, the denture snaps onto the implants, keeping it stable and secure. Sometimes your current dentures can be modified to work with mini-implants, and it is not necessary to make new ones.
